Biography April Scott
April Scott was born on January 29, 1979, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and grew up on a 20-acre farm in a rural part of the Midwestern state. Following graduation from high school, she enrolled at a private Christian college in her home state. In 2001, she earned her degree as a theater studies major with a minor in rhetoric.

April could hardly wait to leave her small, sleepy town for the bright lights and excitement of a big city. Shortly after graduating college, she packed her bags and drove to Los Angeles to pursue a career as an actress, despite having no contacts in the city and little money to get by.

Within a week of her arrival in the City of Angels, April found a talent agent who encouraged her to pursue modeling in addition to acting. She landed bookings on modeling shoots from the get-go, and also managed to receive a Screen Actors Guild card within a couple of months of her move to Southern California.
